We believe that Education provided to children is only as good as the Teacher giving it .Participatory and child centred Education is essential to the provision of effective financial and life skills Education. To this end, we at Tangu Utoto invest heavily in training Teachers. Tangu Utoto Foundation works together with Teachers enabling children to develop their knowledge, skills and attitudes needed to succeed in life. Our training ensures that Teachers can use classroom materials to their best advantage and focuses on making them better Teachers in general. We believe that Teachers should be beneficiaries of the programmes as much as children. Tangu Utoto Foundation has so far trained 50 teachers in Kasese in four selected schools through in-service and pre-service workshops between 3 days to 3 weeks duration. We do so through a network we have of Early Childhood Educators, Administrators and Specialists who work within Teacher training institutes, early learning centres and children Nongovernment Organisations.
